Timber framing is the ancient building practice that employs the time honored tradition of mortise and tenon joinery.  Using hand riven tapered pegs, each joint is drawn tight through drawbore and gives visible strength to the frame.  

Throughout history, timber framing has proven itself as a beautiful, sustainable, and effective building technique.  In today's age of instant gratification and distorted quality, it is rare to find handcrafted homes and heirlooms that inspire us.  Over the last several decades, timber framing has seen a resurgence among the building trades and has once again given inspiration to the built environment.
