DESIGN:
Each project begins with a detailed design starting with a conceptual
sketch and working through to a finished 3D design of your
project. Before any handwork begins, you will know precisely what
to expect from the finished product. When possible, allowing the
craftsman a level of creativity will bring that special touch to your
project.
RAISING DAY:
Once all the timbers have been cut and delivered to your site, the
frame will be "raised". This is an exciting time for you and the
craftsman as the timber frame becomes a reality.

JOINERY & TIMBER HANDWORK:
Upon completion of the project
design and approved engineered drawings, timbers will be ordered and
work will begin laying out, cutting, and joining the raw timber into a
finished frame. Using methods perfected by craftsman of
old, timber layout can range from fully scribed frames to square rule
layout, or a combination thereof. In addition to a skillfully cut
frame, you can expect a number of different timber finishes ranging
from hand planed to rough sawn, including hand hewn.
